Story changes the world. Technology, Finance and Story together disrupt the status quo, establish a new narrative, and create new norms. It's time for women to tell stories through their lens so that female voices are seen and heard.

When people see themselves in a story, new possibilities become real and new dreams are born. This creates purpose and hope, which inspires the ambition to work toward a better life for themselves and others. All art tells a story and is an expression of the creator. Female Artists have infinite impact on raising women’s voices, and creating gender equality.

A worldwide initiative, 2000Dames’ mission is women advancing the inclusion and impact of female artists by supporting artists at each stage of their careers, including technological and financial literacy. When women have these tools and opportunities, then female storytelling grows, advancing a conversation of equality for all women. 2000Dames will also empower women by bringing together female artists whose art is about social causes, and uniting them in social impact projects.

As an entrepreneur for 25 years, my expertise is building enterprises that deliver new ideas and spark dialogue. Social Impact through business and creativity has always been at the core of my work. I founded the J.O.B.S. Program at the University of Maryland for students who could not afford tuition. We helped 1,000 students per day find work and stay in school. As an executive/C-suite change agent for individuals and companies’, I emphasized that the success of any business is dependent on the company’s culture. As co-founder of NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, we introduced the Fortune 250 to a new collaborative and inclusive model for structuring deals.

As mom to 10 year-old twin girls, my priority is to make the world a place where my children’s choices are based on desire and talent, not gender, race or lifestyle. A world where equality and opportunity for all is a genuine reality. A world where inclusion isn’t a mission, it’s a given.
